Editorial Policy

Last updated:

This editorial policy describes the standards ICC Society applies to all content published on this website. Our goal is to publish practical, accurate and original guidance that is genuinely useful to small business owners and operational teams.

Accuracy

Every article published on ICC Society is reviewed for factual accuracy before it is published. We take accuracy seriously. Where we make claims about what works in practice, those claims are based on established business practice and operational experience rather than speculation.

We do not publish content that misrepresents how things work, overstates outcomes, or makes claims that are not supportable.

Originality

All content on ICC Society is original — written specifically for this site. We do not republish, aggregate or spin content from other sources. Where we reference a specific practice, tool or concept, the editorial treatment is original to ICC Society.

Editorial Independence

ICC Society's editorial content is independent. We do not accept payment, gifts, products or services in exchange for editorial mentions or favourable coverage. Where we reference an external organisation or service editorially, it is because we believe the reference is genuinely useful to our readers — not because of any commercial relationship.

If advertising is displayed on this site (via Google AdSense), it is clearly separate from editorial content. Editorial decisions are not influenced by advertising relationships. See our Advertising Disclosure for full details.

Content Standards

Before publication, each article is reviewed against the following standards:

  • Is it accurate and factually correct?
  • Is it original — not copied, spun or aggregated from other sources?
  • Is it practical — does it give the reader something useful they can apply?
  • Is it clear — can a business owner or operational team member read and understand it without specialist knowledge?
  • Is it honest — does it avoid overstating outcomes or making claims that are not supportable?

Articles that do not meet these standards are revised before publication or not published.

Corrections Policy

We take corrections seriously. If a factual error is identified in a published article, we will:

  • Review the correction request promptly
  • If the correction is valid, update the article and note the correction clearly within the article
  • Respond to the person who identified the error to confirm the action taken

To submit a correction request, email us at info@icc-society.com with the article title, the passage in question and the correction you believe is needed.
